Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. was founded on the campus of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY on December
4th 1906 by 7 courageous men who had a vision to create an organization that not only would be the blueprint for other organizations
to follow, but be a guiding light for those men who were lost and looking for a way home....thus ALPHA was born.
The Delta Tau chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. was founded on the campus of Saint Paul's
College in Lawrenceville, VA on November 22nd 1952 by nine men who decided that the time had come for the campus to thrive
on the ideals not only on the campus, but the ideals of society and humanity; and for this very reason the Delta Tau chapter
was imprinted into the minds of the courageous nine men and later onto the campus of Saint Paul's College, which would never
be the same again.
